The leader of our team just disappeared, no good bye email, no thanks for all the hard work, nothing. Just gone. Her linkedin does not show Insight as her employer anymore, it did just last week. Tried to send an email last week and it just went into a black hole, or where ever her emails are now forwarded to. I think from reading other posts on here that she was terminated, no early retirement, just role eliminated I guess. Seems to be the main tactic used to put people out to pasture. Whack-ATTACK-Jack sure is making his markie mark. I'm not sure it's leadership being demonstrated here, just desperation to get the numbers in line to get a bonus and sure is devoid of any real strategy.

@hc I think that you need to read the clues left in the breadcrumbs. People do not want to name names for fear of retaliation since execs sure seem to be trolling on here. Like the CHRO, she loves to stalk folks on LinkedIn once they have been cut, she's looking for extra brownie points to show what a corporate trooper she is.
@hc There are so many to name that have had the same thing happen to them. This tactic began three years ago, take out someone that is:
Making a difference
Has a strong internal following
Is not afraid to challenge and speak up
Is trying to do the best thing for this company
Is genuinely a very nice person
Knows their space much better than the half-a$$ed replacement
My advise is if you want to keep your job:
Say what they want to hear and not what you should tell them
Play along with the stupidity even when you don't agree
Kiss everyone's A$$
If you have a backbone:
Tell them that they are wrong
Tell them they have no clue what they are doing
Speak up and speak your mind
Reach out to your former team and let them know what actually happened vs what they have been told, they won't reach out to you in fear of being taking out (even though your GAG order that you signed states: shut the fu-k up)
