Agreed, hence the new GROWTH org that’s being created…
@jy Yet even that isn't working, and I don't think will work. Costs will continue to spiral since we need to keep pace on tech but don't have the revenue growth to drive expansion. Headcount alone won't cover the bill. He wasn't brought in for cost cutting anyway, he was brought in for growth.
@jf Its very simple. He will squeeze margins until the stock price moves up - and then squeeze some more. I don't mean that as criticism. There really is nothing left to do to push that price up. The industry that factset sells into has changed a ton. The competitive landscape has changed a lot. Its not really poised for growth anymore. So the board hired a guy who can squeeze and smile nice for everyone.
A year in and I haven't a clue what we're doing...
