Demotions and Salary Decreases Startef

This week is off to a great start-a department in OTS was hit with demotions and salary decreases. Not performance based, based on job title alone. Long term BAs brought down to FAs, despite no change in job duties. Just the moral booster associates need.

@kw because you stop caring. That’s quite quitting. The effort is gone even if you log in for 40hrs a week. Not a single associate I know that is still working gives any darn about their work, the quality, the fires etc, People are done and are doing the bare minimum, that’s quiet quitting.

@kv Working 40 hours and nothing beyond is the definition of a full-time job. How is that quiet quitting? That's quite literally meeting FTE expectations.

@ka working your 40 hrs and nothing beyond that is actually the definition of quiet quitting.

@k8 Work your hours, log your hours, then log off. They are dumping more on you because you keep doing it. You complain and log in at night. You complain and crank out emails on the weekend. You aggravate everyone else by being "that sme" sending out 10pm responses to show how important you are. Then you get burned out, try that quiet-quitting nonsense, and then get pip'd and possibly canned. Just do your 40 each week. At least then if you get cut you'll get a severance and will be able to comfortably get a job somewhere else.

@k0 we are all out of steam. I feel we’re all getting groomed by ELT. They have caused so much emotional and mental distress to the employees then they’ll have a meeting where they try to ‘pump us back up’. Then they continue the abuse…with it all somehow staying secret from the public, portraying themselves to look like a great company with empathetic leadership all the while knowing that behind closed doors is just daily misery. Associates didn’t want to see this place fail. Associates tried their hardest with what they were given to try to fix the mess they foresaw and still it’s never enough. Instead of listening to cries of the providers, the screams from their members and the whimpering of their exhausted employees they just ignore it. Give themselves raises, bonuses and a big pat on the back.

Nothing to add except for I wish they'd just rip off the band-aid. I'm running out of steam.

@OP sorry to hear that. OTS is already pure hades as they struggle to overcome all these migration problems they didn't cause. They should be getting raises. CF has no soul.
