Less ppls and more bbls. Guys we need these reductions so real estate can improve services at the our worksites. There’s just too many of us to provide top notch amenities. I for one look forward to the improved amenities that may come with a new owner.

What else is new?
What would a Shell leader tell you? Use the mental-health resources available and take care of yourself first. What a sane person would do. Update your résumé and explore your options. It may be easier to transition while you’re still mid-career. Do you really think the constant reorgs and pressure will stop?
P&T’s “lift and shift” was never really a BU integration event. It felt more like the final step in dismantling P&T so Robin could say he had done what he was brought in to do and move on comfortably. Now the BUs have inherited the additional headcount and are being forced to trim the excess.
P&T leadership repeatedly told people this was not a reorg, just a lift and shift. You would think they could have been more transparent about what was likely to come after the move.
Good luck. Being in former P&T feels like survival mode with no finish line.

In all seriousness, this feels like the new way of working at Shell… cuts every six months, every year, and at every group regardless of profit or not. Constant restructuring is the operating model. This is what Wael seems to know how to do best to make investors feel better on the quarterly investor calls. Shareholders get their value, as do Wael and his cronies. Do you really think they care about your mental health? Exxon’s 10% annual culling looks like a cakewalk compared with working at Shell.
We need to cut geos, RE and well engineers from DSW, far too many for the projects we have, seem to always cut IT, data and barely touch the expensive folk

It is always us, I thought after integrating into BU, we will be safe. Or at least the reorg will include the whole BU so more/fair opportunities for everyone
