@148 the board is filled with all his people. It's one of the best grift in corporate history. He played the long game.

Competent people are removed sooner or later. We don't do competence here. Incompetent people follow the Peter Principle.

Yes he was in over his goofy head…. However at some point the incompetence of the board will also show. At what point do they realize the CEO is the most intellectually challenged CEO in the business. He has not made a single good move. You couldn’t ask the smartest people in the world to come up with a strategy to intentionally torpedo a company the way this clown has. Think of all who left and all the people he brought in. Most of which he has already removed and more coming. You think at some point even he looks in the mirror and realizes he should go back to dressing like a Miami cartel member and stay as far away from the corporate world as possible. He is a real word example of getting lucky once and believing that luck makes you a smart man. I’m guessing IQ around 79-81.
How on earth does the board justify him making what he does or being on an I service plan so far removed from the rest of the leadership team. Flies all over in the PJ with a scotch selection that would rival anyone. Spends company money like crazy and feels DXC is his own piggy bank.
So yes Chris is out… hearing TR also who was never the guy… and the list goes on and on and on.
I can’t figure out why the analysts have not done a real job here and brought the incompetence to light.

Chris was a reliable and solid leader in a company where they don't have many. He put in the work and was always available. Definitely was NOT the problem!

@kw I thought value streams were a GE thing... Both drum and Kristie were GE.

It worked for GE but not dxc because... Dxc is where nothing works and nobody can tell you exactly why.

Drummer was another useless guy - collected millions and moved up to collect more millions. Left IT in deep sheeeeet.

DXC time his value add. Value streams his value add. Kristy Grinch his value add

I’m wondering who else is on this “CEO Advisory Council”. I hope they meet in some secret underground location and wear cool robes.

He was a he-l of a lot better than the rest of the useless execs, they all need tp be cleared out especially Raul and UK delivery leadership. Drumgoole was at least clear and honest in his town halls and made positive changes which you can't say about anyone else in senior leadership.

Is this based on real information? Early on he did fix some of the chronic internal IT problems such as not being able to get a PC for new hire for 3-6 weeks after they start working. That was just crazy. He also implemented some easier processes for employees to get equipment. He had some early successes with low hanging fruit. He did trust the existing internal IT team too much. He should have cleaned house on the lot. He was one of the few that really had any successes in the M2 era. That's probably why he was pushed up and eventually into the cloud space. He does have some good industry contacts that resulted in some wins, and during his tenure as the cloud lead he did work to get DXC's name out there. I found him pretty approachable and he demonstrated common sense which is rare among the current leadership. But DXC is just so broke that it's not been easy for anyone. I think him leaving is another loss for DXC. Maybe he just wasn't in the current CEO's pack of pals. Shortsighted CEO in my opinion.
