Thread regarding Fannie Mae layoffs

Executive pay

There is salary, a sign-on bonus, an annual bonus, deferred salary, deferred compensation, and all other compensation. The total pay is well into the millions and easily exceeds any of your guesses. Same goes for your VPs and SVPs.  This is an incredible payout for a bunch of wa-kers whose "strategic" decisions are no better than what ChatGPT 1.0 would produce for the cost of a few dollars.

@nx The salaries are capped, I think the CEO and higher ups can't more than $600,000 a year or so; although that doesn't count bonus the bonus.

JD hired announced the hire of two new SVP's today. I guess that's what all the cuts last week paid for.

With that kind of compensation they have far more on the line to even think about any kind of leadership, ethical or moral principles. They'll throw you under the bus with no hesitation.

And they will tell you to use ChatGPT to be more efficient at your job. Just not efficient enough to replace them.

You can't make this sh-t up. C-suite people are the epitome of: "Rules for thee, not for me."

They will never look in the mirror and be honest with themselves about how useful or useless they are.
