So what happened that 24hrs before the new brand ‘launch’ the whole thing got ‘postponed’. There has to be more there.

@17g as an older white person who left BD, I can say with hand on heart that I have never experienced the toxic level of age discrimination anywhere in the world that I did at BD. It was only beat by the outright misogyny I experienced every day.

From my experience with BD I have witnessed the worst leadership at a Fortune 500 company. They don't really care about their employees. I have seen them send people home with broken bones and told them not to go to the doctor just take ibuprofen. Got a concussion a our psychologist can tell you are fine. They lay offs now about getting rid of older white people that have enough integrity to do the right thing and not go along with the shady stuff the ask people to lie about. The will have recalls eventually because the are definitely
Hard to be new when everyone knows it’s you. someone in finance likely pointed out the need to finish the fiscal year in good standing. And asked for the ROI…and nobody in leadership could support the $$$.
Maybe Tom and team realized what a massive waste of money it would have been last minute and told that new marketing lead lady to relax
