Thread regarding Honeywell Aerospace layoffs

Lots of lipstick on this pig!

Baron's magazine stopped just short of calling Honeywell Aero stock a value trap today: "Put together, we see Honeywell’s growth continuing to lag its peers. While the valuation is relatively inexpensive, we fear that this could be a value trap." It's no longer Honeywell, but it kept the name and the worst parts of the business practices and senior management hubris. Time to clean house in the executive suite completely and get rid of the old Allied Signal and Jack Welsh disciples that do nothing but poison companies , set them up to fail, and then walk off with golden parachutes. The downtime from the IT migration alone was in the tens of millions of dollars in Q1 alone. The migration residual issues are still a huge and expensive problem that prevents people from doing their work. It's turned into it's own whack-a-mole-zombie-juggernaut nightmare. Run, do not walk, away from this stock until they purge the cancer at the top and show solid financial results.

@wk LinkedIn is a total joke. My former (I was smart enough to leave them high and dry. I heard more left after I did) machine shop supervisor actually has a "Philly Pretzel Factory University graduate" listed as an accolade. Are you freaking kidding me?

These are your "Aero leaders".

@vc The constant amount of boasting the ALT does on LinkedIn is honestly ridiculous. And the funniest part is, it’s not even them coming up with all that verbiage and posting it themselves… their Communications partner does it for them. 😂

The HR leader posts crack me up the most about talent. If you only went by LinkedIn, you’d think she was this super engaged, visible leader. Meanwhile, she barely comes out of her cave to spend time with her own team. The difference between LinkedIn and reality is wild

Lots of money spent on resume boosting vanity projects and nothing invested in castings. Maybe Jim will guide on how much cash flow will be generated by the LinkedIn posts by his VPs and Directors patting themselves on the back.

@ps isn't Honeywell Aerospace white again without any Indian leadership? Shouldn't it solve all the problems as it has been cited on the threads multiple times?

@pm
How Much Time is really the Question. How much time does it take to make all of the parts that are in short supply in the Supply Chain. Who knows the answer to that question? Who's gonna pay the supplier on time to make that happen? Again who knows that the answer to that question? HONA management can no longer kick the can down the road. The market spoke! Did anyone listen? Shareholders are not happy, beatings will continue and they will increase until they get what they think they deserve! Buckle Up ButterCup....

They can put all of the lipstick they want on that on that pig, it's still a pig.

It's the same analogy as: You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's a$$. Apparently these id--ts think that you can.

Keep on polishing that tu-d, try rolling it in glitter!

We will merge with GE before the end of 2027. Could be sooner if the stock drops below $22.

Aero is now on the market. GE, Pratt Witney, Boeing. Great deal, however they have fix the management structure. Avionics is particularly a business worth a buy out.
