There is no sense of urgency at PEP, they seem content with their negative return on the stock, they seem content trying to deceive everyone by celebrating failure as a raging success.

@19f Cramer is all show, no substance. The same came bd said for PepsiCo leadership. No cultural expression like ours to build, ours to win or chasing buffaloes into storms can hide the lack of true leadership.
@14n good lord ! are you Jim Cramer ? your statement sounds like something he would say. He is a clown, he was hyping Bear Stearns right before they collapsed in 2008, then just last month, he was hyping IBM on a Monday and then on Tuesday their stock crashed and lost 25% of it's value, $290 per share down to $210, $70B of market value in ONE DAY ! because IBM is as sc--wed up at PEP. Cramer is a clown that doesn't have a clue.

As a former +30 year vet of PEP I am appalled at the decline of service at store/outlet level. Constant OOS and shrinking shelf space as a result. Raise the price for short term results but sacrifice share to more economical competition. It's not sustainable.
The company can always seem to find capital for acquisitions, brand refreshes that no one asked for and pet projects from people with zero field experience. But let's not invest in sales and service...
@14n the stock price is lower then it was 5 years ago, 1 year ago as well as YTD. No growth at all. The Poppi deal didn't move the needle, same with Siete and Celsius. All roads lead to poor leadership. The BOD is very complacent. Most companies would have had a leadership change by now. You can't blame inflation and changing consumer behavior when the competition is soaring ahead. Seems to me that leadership has lost touch with the consumer.
PEP is one of the best/consistent dividend stocks you can hold. No clue what your negative return comment means. Buy the stock and retire off the dividend income.

This is all apart of the 2030 Agenda. Everything on manufacturing side automated with robots. Sales side is going to smart sale tactic and AI. When a customer buys a product it auto orders and no need for sales team any longer. Plan is to reduce frontline work force by 65% going into 2030. That is what saves the stock. By outsourcing over seas will make less noise in the media when they are all laid off at one time and won’t effect the unemployment numbers in the US.
