Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

-3k below smb forcast

Per Floods call yesterday the smb new branded group was 3k below forecast. I still am unsure of what’s going to happen with us as a segment of the group as a lot is transition over to i2B but i will say it’s brutal out here.

Have a great weekend everyone,

@OP i2b will always hit their top line GGs and always on net adds due to the over aggressive sales targets they have to hit in order to make their huge payouts monthly and quarterly bonuses. They would rather have high charge back rate and net a few million than miss the targets. Anything SMB can't hit will get added to the strong close spiff and given to i2b to save the day.

@qe with the transition it’s been a brutal paycheck to paycheck. Massive comp cut unfortunately

@q9 Flood is the fall guy and he does or doesn’t know it. I mean why would you care how the company uses you anyway as long as you are making $100k’s close to a million a year?

@OP
don't worry, flood can't figure anything out so it will remain the same going forward. How many times will the guy be allowed to fail?

@hx do you have first hand or working knowledge of R2B merging with B2B? I think R2B senior managers su-k! B2B managers are much better suited for transition of R2B to their world. Most R2B senior managers lack the patience and skill as demonstrated in recent reporting.
