I've been here long enough to know the script. They tell you you're safe to keep you grinding for mediocre pay and benefits. The second they can hire someone cheaper, you're gone. I know because I've seen it happen. Don't believe the hype. This is experience talking.

@q9 This is so true. Schwab self-insures. So any claims come out of a fund that the insurers manage. If United or Kaiser don't spend it all it is profit.
