These are growing in number, so I just thought to warn other people who're as desperate to leave as I am. Be careful of recruiters reaching out on LinkedIn, and if a job looks too good, it probably is. Check the name, the phone number, and the company. Sadly, times like these attract many predators.

Poll: Friday the 28th or Monday the 31st
Arrow up for the 28th, arrow down for the 31s. Let's count.
You will get thrown under the bus.
Is just a matter of time.
Brace for impact!
People actions happening this week.
The kool-aid warning
I've been here long enough to know the script. They tell you you're safe to keep you grinding for mediocre pay and benefits. The second they can hire someone cheaper, you're gone. I know because I've seen it happen. Don't believe the hype. This is experience talking.
Pension Gone Soon
Very clear the company will do away with the pension soon. Plan accordingly.
SerDes group !! What a joke !!
Stay away from this group. I’ve honestly never seen anything like it. The leadership is completely disconnected from the technical work, and it feels like meetings are the main thing getting done. There are also some questionable promotion decisions that I found very surprising.
Seriously, don’t put your career at risk by joining this place. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
The unfairness of it all
I gave nine years to Oracle, late nights, extra projects, constant praise. I honestly believed I'd be here until retirement. Then they cut me last month without warning. I know I'll find something else, but I'm terrified it won't be as good. The unfairness of it all is eating me alive.
Look for a Going Concern warning this earnings or next
It's gonna happen sooner or later. The closer to CH 11 they do it, the worse it looks.
Raise didn't keep me safe
Just a warning to people who might think, like I did, that getting a raise means they're planning to keep you around. That's not true. Four months after I got a raise, I was gone. I think it hit me even harder because I was so convinced I was safe. I just wanted to share this so people know where they really stand.
Watch out
Layoffs coming this Friday. Be prepared.
Role Leaving US B9 Project Manager
Associate Director (B9)Project/Program manager role phasing out this year. Take this as your warning
The axe will swing
Let’s get real peeps.
FIS bought, absorbed, renamed, reorganized, and stacked business on top of business without ever turning the whole thing into something coherent. Too many layers, too many handoffs, too many teams protecting their little kingdoms, and too many people paid to attend meetings about work instead of doing work.
That kind of structure can survive for a while, especially when revenue hides the rot. But eventually the bill comes due. And when it does, headcount is where leadership goes first.
Your impending layoff is the natural consequence of FIS getting big without getting better. The smart move is to stop treating this like a personal betrayal and start treating it like a warning. Update your resume. Call people. Look outside. Move before the axe swings.
And if you have spent years coasting inside FIS, this is the moment of truth. The market will tell you very quickly whether you were building a career or just collecting a paycheck inside a system that made underperformance easy to hide.
Get over it.
Posting Links to Other Posts
Please be very careful if you are going to go to a link in a post on the site. From what I can see most people are just doing it to try to be helpful but I hight recommend against just copying, pasting, and navigating to the links in posts asthey could very well be phishing attempts or other things of the sort....
Agency just missed minimum goal in May...
are we done? This makes 7 months in the rolling 12. Coworkers are all concerned. Is there a grace period? Probation? Warning?
Formal Warning
Coworker was upset that her boss was escalating an informal warning she received last month to a formal warning. I asked her if that’s a PIP and she said she was told that there are no PIP’s. Is this true? Is she sc--wed? She said her manager told her to meet with her more frequently to discuss anything. She said manager seems to be supportive of legitimately helping and actually wanted her to take over some work from another coworker.
Seems to me that this may be their due diligence to letting her go, but why have her take over more work if they want to let her go?
Always be prepared
It really doesn't matter when the next round is going to happen. How many times have we already experienced layoffs being dropped on us without any communication or warning that they might happen? Leadership has proven to us many times over the past couple of years that they couldn't care less about their employees, and they've been treating us accordingly - as the first line of any cuts they might need at any given moment.
Verizon Employment is At-Will - Be aware.
Employment is an at-will state (except for Montana).
The Employer or Employee can terminate Employment at any time.
Verizon reported to the SEC for manipulation
Do not be surprised if the SEC and the Feds raid Basking Ridge in the next couple of months.
Be warned, have a witness, record conversations
Monitors for efficiency are back on property, all supervisors have been instructed to conduct more camera ops testing, and violate agreements if need be under the guise of insubordination. Any refusal will result in automatic being pulled from service pending investigation, senior employees have already been pre warned, and instructed that even good faith challenges will result in being pulled from service, with conduct becoming the leading charge, rather than the task being challenged.

YES! Forced Resignations are real
I am an NGINX Dev and I'm worried about my friend that works in F5 Digital. I can confirm forced resigns are happening in US and India. Be careful joining F5 Digital Team. If you've doubts, confirm with your friends at F5.
PSA: Careful - Wells will take everything if you let him.
That's it that's the post.
Huntington Mayor Warns of Layoffs Without Levy Passage
Huntington's Mayor issued a public warning. The warning concerns potential city layoffs. These layoffs would happen if a proposed levy does not pass. The article does not specify the number of jobs at risk. It also does not detail the specific levy.

This is not over
Only a few hundred from the planned thousands were cut in this round. I don't know when it'll continue, but it'll continue soon enough. Be prepared, folks.
URGENT
Just spoke with my SD and it’s not looking good at all. That’s all I am going to say. Expect layoffs and many office closures. When I say many, I really mean it. Verizon is going 90% digital. Get ready

There’s trouble coming
When Ford issues press releases like this and the Freep publishes them as “news” and doesn’t put them behind the paywall something bad is brewing. When Ford is sending out all kinds of happy press releases it’s a warning sign.

I hope everybody is looking for a new job
We all know major cuts are coming, the only question is when. It's much easier to find a new job when you're already employed. And trust me, the job market is so bad right now that you don't want to be stuck looking for a job while unemployed with so many others in our field already out of work and looking.
ISG Remotes: 4/6
Not like you were not warned.
What are we doing?
Not layoff related so I apologize for that. But it is getting exceedingly difficult to see a winning strategy with this bold move, Cotton.

Heads Up and Be Warned
First week of April.
ARMS DEALER
Don’t fall for the “A”hole who keeps posting cr-p about pre and post 2008 hires. Like an arms dealer selling to both sides. DON’T FALL FOR IT!
Written warning and internal transfer
Is it possible to transfer internally if the hiring leader is ok with someone having a written warning? this person knows my team is a total joke especially the ones who can’t think for themselves
Last minute Beat
you know what that means
IP Address Tracking is now live for RTO
Just an FYI. Our division head was told Friday, IP address tracking and log in times are now being used to cross check FULL days in office. The reporting has always been around, senior management is now reviewing on a monthly basis.
There is discussion regarding adding a dropdown when logging in as well. Attesting when you are logging in, In Office or Remote.
I’ve never worked at a place where they put this much effort into trying to punish employees.
LinkedIn is full of scammers now
I've been getting so many fake job offers lately it's ridiculous. You're desperate for a job and thinking it's a lead, but it's just someone trying to steal your info. Please double-check every recruiter before you respond. These people prey on our vulnerability.
