Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Don't be loyal to this place

The company will cut you without a hint of hesitation, they've done it before and they'll do it again. Profits come first, people come second. The younger workers aren't wrong to take what they can and move on. They learned what took some of us decades to accept.

Yeah I left after the recent layoffs TR seems like a sinking ship. Stock is in the gutter and the push for AI is really d-mb. I think there’s going to be more layoffs coming due to d-mb decisions by executives

"The company will cut you without a hint of hesitation". You betcha!. Had personal experience of this. A very vindictive manager without ANY management qualifications.

Do you really think that people rate as high as second around here?
