Will JH need 1.21 gigawatts to fuel the flux capacitor for our trip back to the generalist future? Or perhaps it will run on the self congratulatory smugness of our latest carpet bagger C suite dolts?

@16r Agreed, but I think this can be a valuable source of a certain sort of feedback. I have frequented this site for years and from different employers and, while it features a lot of whinging and complaining, one can get a sense of the general mood of the worker bees in the hive.
@x9 i believe it’s possibly a reference to James Heine who is h head of sales for the Higher Ed division. The latest change to spur growth is to realign accounts so there is a single rep that will sell all disciplines but will be supported by an expanded team of product “experts” or specialists that can make presentations when needed. This was the way it was before the disciplines were divided among reps that only sold within their product category. It simplifies who does what per campus account so maybe, just maybe, that will improve the customer experience by reducing frustration on not knowing who to call. We have a hard enough time internally identifying the right people, so for a customer it must be worse.
@110 How is it clear they know about this site? I highly doubt they care, even if they did.
What would scare them is these kinds of conversations happening internally - which is why they shut down every opportunity for public feedback.

@x9 It is anonymous until it isn't. It is clear that c-suite knows about this site and that there are trolls. A little caution goes a long way. On the other hand, I don't have a clue who JH is either and am equally curious.
Who is JH. Why are people so freaking vague on this page. It’s anonymous - have at it. At least talk about departments.
