Anybody else disappointed they were not laid off?

As long as severance is half-decent, it feels like we're at a point where getting let go might actually be better than staying. Especially if you're on a team that's been hit, since now you're just expected to take on even more work with zero reward... — read more

this place is really disorganized

worst part, the usual bozos working this place, svp and md, are the culprit but because they know how to work state street, usually blaming their own workers, they get to skip the layoffs. I had people not having any idea about excel or powerpoint... — read more

A total scam

This company is fundamentally a scam. It's continuously changing and declining. Worst is yet to come. Offshore locations like India and Poland completely out of touch and control. Errors are amassing at a dangerous pace. The glory days are a thing... — read more

Let em complain.

This place su-ks. I do my job and out by 5pm. I don't bother with their "reviews". Nor do I prioritize. This place offers zero bonus nor raises. Avoid this place.

Extremely poorly run company

Avoid this place. Not only do they do random layoffs for no real apparent reasons, we have many people of all levels of management leaving the company as well, including SVP/EVPs. Look it up.. Takes alot for these people to leave but this place is... — read more

Annual Compensation Report

We shouldn't be complaining too much about not receiving any raises or bonuses. At least Ron is doing well. As Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President at STATE STREET CORP, Ronald P. O'Hanley made: Year 2024: $16,715,967 in total... — read more

GA Got Hit Today

Just got the word two of my teammates got the pink slip this morning.

State street

State street is a joke of a company. Financial reporting leaders are always acting like it’s not their fault. India workers can’t do anything. Pathetic

Record year profits only 3% bonus

And no raises working in the division that makes bulk of the company's revenues. The joke went from comedy to tragedy really quick.

Great place to work . . .

If you live in Ireland, Poland, India. If you live in the USA State Street wants to be rid of you, erode the tax base, and hire foreigners.

TCP - Numbers are out. How we feeling?

I tell ya, this company takes the cake and ice cream too. TCP numbers are out today! Yay! What a great year we have had they say! Um, did we forget about the su-kers who made it happen? No merit, same bonus (which we honestly count on as part of... — read more

Hello Ireland! Good Bye USA!

Charles River Development, one of the companies State Street acquired, just dumped a bunch more US employees, and moved the jobs to Ireland. Bravo State Street! Lets keep eroding the US tax base. Suggestion to people applying to State Street or... — read more

Layoffs this week

Why am I reading about layoffs happening yesterday? We haven't heard anything and nobody in our team was affected. Does anybody know if this is something that actually happened and if so, what was hit? Also, should we expect more cuts throughout the... — read more

I think Ron should split his entire bonus one year to all of the company employees. Maybe they will try and force us to get another shot. Don’t do it! More work less pay and no reinforcements on the way but hey kids out of school with no knowledge... — read more

I know November 20th is the last schedule staff reduction date for 2024, but has anyone heard anything on them continuing into next year?

Union for State Street Employees

I am not a big fan of Unions but I think ib this case lower level employees would benefit if State Street Corp was a union shop. Bet we would have better benefits and perhaps a raise that actually makes a difference. Anyone ever attempted that ?

This week's cuts

I've heard some people received their notifications, does anybody here know more about it? Was it just a few targeted people or was it something more significant? Is it over or can we expect more tomorrow? I hate there's so little transparency from... — read more

Mental Health

If you really care about yourselves and your mental care, get out of here. I am free of this joke of a company since June.

New RTO on June 30th

Has anyone heard how they’re policing the new change in RTO? The first one was a big joke once everyone found out they weren’t being tracked or penalized. Does anything change with that come June 30th?
