Hearing rumblings about September layoffs now that the merger has been delayed. Anyone else hear anything?

@v9 don’t be sad. You will find another boot to lick.
Delayed a year since the resident clown here said this was going through months ago. Same resident clown that said buy at $15 when para merged with Viacomcbs.. show yourself fool. Big loudmouth nobody
@10y they haven’t left. They’re protected.
@10q well many of the carribean remote workers you complain about who left doubled their salaries in doing so
@wx the Caribbean remote workers think they are talented.
leaving sometimes has more to do with pi-s poor superiors and not just the return to office mandate. one tyrant had several people under them opt in to leave.
@wx you don't have to believe me, but my former team lost several talented people due to RTO mandates. do you really believe there would be a remote exemption for streaming otherwise? they lost too many good people so they had to do what they could to salvage the situation
@wm zero talent left.
@v9 let's be real the real reason is that DE doesn't know how to run a company. he already lost plenty of good talent from mandating RTO without a good reason.
Not sure but if so it tracks for quarterly
Layoffs this week
@ny If there will be September layoffs, we can thank Democratic AGs for that.
Yes, this is all bs. There are going to be no layoffs because the Elsons are just going to absorb the ticking fee that is coming towards them, and they are magically going to be able to finalize this in 60 days. I am not saying that cuts are coming in September, but they are definitely coming. Do not believe the obvious... Smh
@dv Totally. Paramount employees are living the new American Dream.
@hr Yes, this is a joke, just like all of the comments about the Caribbean workers, which you would know if you’ve spent any amount of time on this board.
@dv is this a joke? He has laid off so many people in this economy. Thousands of people are out of work because of him. This the companies entire business model. He would get rid of everyone if it were possible.
with the exception of CBS news and any restructuring under BW - i second that CBS E has no planned layoffs nor buyouts ..
No. I believe DE wouldn't lay people off in this economy.
Nope. Haven’t heard anything on the CBS side.
