You’re about to enter the big cluster. Enjoy your time in the barrel because you’ll be thrilled to move to Bangalore when your numbers up!

You’ll like it if you like infinity Indians.
Traitorous corporations are determined to import highly docile, conforming, submissive h1b slaves and Frisco is a hotbed of this activity.
Executives are determined to replace us with h1b because they cannot quit, cannot protest work conditions, and will accept lower pay at a shot at an eventual green card.
So yeah. If you like Indian food it’s great.

Also I hear the traffic su-ks.

What to expect: 6 months of su-k followed by getting laid off. You should have taken the hint and took the severance.

Long commute, hot as Hades, no parking in Plano, concrete everywhere, crowded, expensive, lots of showy people, expensive to buy a house & go out to eat/entertainment, many toll roads, not a naturally beautiful city
Many mosques and an exploding population
Good schools, lots of kids/young families, two airports make flying convenient, lots of the usual big box stores, fancy malls, new neighborhoods & houses

Leave at 6 am and be back home around 6 pm. Your wife is going to love all the free time.

@OP welcome to your 1+ hour commute with wrecks all the time. If you have kids and want to see their activities or games, start revving the engine on using PTO days!

8-5, M-F. Well, probably need to leave Frisco around 6 am to avoid some of the traffic. You do it or you be fired. Welcome to HQ sport!
