Ive heard from some people who heard from the higher ups that the call center reps are safe even with those who did or didnt take the vsp??? Is that true?! If so why would they be safe from restructuring and not other departments?

That is not true. The dtc call center is going away for Medicare.

All call center reps? Each department has their own call center. That sounds like a very strange sweeping statement.
@OP I think that ANYTIME someone tells me "you're safe, don't worry about it, blahblahblah", my senses go on high alert. Maybe it's just me and my love of The Gift Of Fear book.

In our case, Centene is clearly on a mission to cut as many of us as is feasible. I truly think no team/dept is "safe"

@OP That is not true. No one is safe. Some departments are being hit harder than others especially clinical
No that is not true. Call Centers are one of the first dept to be outsourced and with the new contract in place many cell centers will be moving to AI. Not all and I hope yours isn’t one of them. That being said nobody’s role is safe right now from the involuntary layoffs coming up.
