If anyone asks what I dislike about my role here, it’s definitely the massive caseload. Every time it comes up, management just says it's because of our "contract obligations." Honestly, I don't get why they can't just hire more people to offset the workload instead of burning everyone out. What do you dislike about you role?

@c7 your so lucky
@c7 she's smart! Ours wasn't and we wish she was leaving!
@OP I loved the job! Now, the most thing I struggle with is the supervisor who turns on some of her team members who have done nothing but worked their as* off to help make her look good!!!
Having a supervisor who lacks transparency and avoids accountability, and tends to shift blame onto her team which creates an unsafe work environment psychologically. It is also discouraging when asked a straight forward question either during team meetings or in the teams chat she acts totally obtuse and everyone sees right through her lol.
THE UNDUE STRESS!!! If your meeting metrics your drowning and not able to work with your members like you want /more timely . If you have a week that slower your are stressed member aren't answering and your numbers will go down. Simple STRESS STRESS STRESS- love the actual work.
Terrible culture. The team I’m on are some of the meanest people I’ve met in my life.
Inability to reach caseload and additional requirements by the state just keep piling on
Keep adding more stuff for our team to do then they wonder why we cant complete our work on time.
We did not have to take inbound calls now they want us to take inbound calls on top of making outbound calls while maintaining a full caseload. Impossible as we have to complete our daily assignments before close of business.
The low morale on my team.
Lazy colleagues and that hard working staff are given more. At least my boss is taking the VSP and we are down to 7 employees after she leaves.
Back to back meetings. Sometimes I took calls while taking a sh-t, that’s how bad it got! 9/4 can’t come fast enough!
When you do a good job they want to give you more work and projects to do.
Promising these state contracts stuff we can’t do in a 8 hour workday.
Meetings that could have just been an email.
Back to back calls, and constant being micromanaged, and PL also threatening with “call avoidance” cr-p.
Honestly? There isn't much that's related to the company itself. My metrics aren't unrealistic at all, I've been blessed with a great PL, and I get to use actual critical thinking to solve problems as opposed to just routine and script. There is one person on my team who isn't "up to snuff" so to speak, and I happen to know they're also on a PIP. My guess would be that when the layoffs begin they'll be the first to go, but that's just a guess. Every team has at least one of those, though. Aside from that, some of the provider groups I work with have the IQ of a bagel and don't get documentation in to me in a timely manner, and then they blame me/my team for any downstream issues. But that's a them problem, not a me problem.
The changes that are made without actual employee input, we do the job everyday, what so hard about asking us. Glad I accepted the VSP! I’m out 9/4.
unachievable metrics…. I’m like go back to the drawing board.
