I can't even enjoy a Saturday or Sunday without my phone buzzing with work emails. GP doesn't care about your time off, they think they own it.

If you're not on call and you don't off your work profile on the weekends that's on you.
This is the value of a "work phone". Unless you're contractually obligated to be on-call, you go home, you put the phone away and you live your life. Maybe pull it out once or twice to check on things if you know there's important stuff afoot, but that's it.
I've unfortunately seen what that kind of 'availability' does to someone long term, even outside of GP. Take care of yourself first, always.

Only dyed-in-the-wool bootlickers are on beck and call through weekends.
The phone has a silent mode, and you have a voice, presumably capable of saying "no".
