So sorry for those who have been impacted this round so far. Any insights on the package they are offering this round of lay offs? I know previous layoffs were two weeks of severance for each year of service. Is it still the same?

Well, My manager just put an invite on my cal for tomorrow at 9am sharp. Subject says "quick connect". I asked what this was in reference to and did not get a response. Let the games begin. US based, been here for 7 years.

After 6 months of no word, or strategy from the top level: 70% of my team just got RIFd. The company is calling these "redundancies" however there is no way there is another team capable of carrying our projects forward.

This was said by other people as well, but I have to reiterate. We've lost so many people that the rest of us are drowning. We can't lose anymore. Unless their goal is to get all of us to quit. In that case, job well done.
