I have been applying externally. I'm not as concerned about the upcoming layoffs as I am about Centene as a whole in this climate. We are going to be overworked and underpaid. I took a pay cut to come here for work-life balance. I'm not interested in having to do my job plus the one that will be vacant. I could've stayed where I was and at least been compensated well for the stress. sigh
@fm what happens if you don't go?
@aa we have movement and re structure. QI member leaving so team has to take her job duties. I guess they now feel safe while we all sit and wait for the fallout. Next week is coming
@ab I was told layoffs anytime next week and will be over by 9/4. Told every single dept is being cut. Also the managers have input so I’m guessing the fav people will be kept and all. I figure emails next week and if I get one I’m not going.

No one on our team took the VSP. No one is saying anything about layoffs at all. The calm before the storm …..
I find it interesting all these teams being told no layoffs in August for them (we were told the same).
Is anyone being told their team WILL have layoffs in August?

Still here, not by choice. No movement on our team at all, so far. No restructuring, no one laid off and we were told we were safe from the lay offs for August. No one fed up and walking out the door on their own yet. Its all status quo.....which could change any minute now.....thats the hard part, sitting and waiting.....
I have not seen a lot of layoffs this week. . Just a lot of restructuring,-team members move to a different team and our director move to a different team.
My bosses boss boss took the VSP. My bosses boss is on pto for 2 weeks 🙃 Talk about timing. I'm flying Blind right now and I'm beyond stressed.
