People being laid off will be informed between 8/10 and 8/12 next week. Leadership had to inform HR this past week who would be the one doing the notifying of the individual that is being laid off, those people went through a layoff training and now we just wait for the meetings to pop up on our calendar.

I’m a supervisor and haven’t heard any of this?
@d4 Agreed! It happened on the last team I was on and the layoffs earlier this year. The favorites were kept the rest let go.
If PL know, I am sure they protected their favorites on the team, that’s how it works. Who created the list? Or had input?
So is this supervisors or managers that took this training to tell us? HR isn’t telling us?
@bb what state
@a5 unable to confirm which LOB but for sure taking place in TX next week.
@am 100% that's not going to happen.
@c8 Apparently our entire department has 1:1 next week
@a5 I was told the same dates.
I received a one on one invite, Monday at 10:30am. Not sure why, but we’ll see. I also accepted the VSP
I’ve noticed lately on the email chains I’m on that once I reply all. I literally get back 5+ OOO replies from directors saying they are out and will return 08/10. It’s a bit concerning
This is true. For PL’s who didn’t have to attend training, either you are impacted yourself or you do not have people under you being let go. There were 2 optional sessions this last week where training / information for PL’s was provided and we had to attend at least one of the two sessions. Best of luck everyone this week.
I saw the HR training on my PL’s calendar so bracing myself
@bb You either have no one impacted or you need to worry
@OP I'm a director and have not been told a single word about the upcoming layoff.
HR told me that since I took the severance package, I won't be involuntarily laid off next week. My exit date is at the end of 2027. If they want to let me go sooner, they'll have to pay out on the enhanced package. HR said that my exit date won't change, but I don't trust that.
I'm so nervous; so is it Florida?
Is it at all possible that those who took the VSP with a 2027 date can still be involuntarily laid off earlier? I don’t mean fired, but involuntarily laid off.
@OP I heard something similar today too. Word is spreading that Supervisors have been made aware who is being laid off & that they're "cleaning house". Still just a rumor at this point though. Sad times.
what training do they go through? It is usually some script they have to say to you
