I’m forced to relocate to Dallas this year. I have kids in elementary school. What is your routine like if you live in Frisco? I am sole earner and can’t lose this job.

If you can’t lose this job, you should think about that before you have kid.
I searched for jobs in hometown but couldn’t land any. T made me an id--t.
Stop saying you are being “forced”. No one can force you to do anything..
Why are you gonna move to Frisco? It’s outrageously expensive there.
The Dallas office will be closed by 2028 and you’ll need to be in Plano then, so why don’t you just move to Plano now and commute?
I mean, either way you’re gonna be commuting to Dallas. Plano is less expensive and there are way more companies there so when you are eventually let go from AT&T (trust me it’s going to happen) you’ll have way more options job wise right in Plano.
Be sure and buy a home with a storm shelter! And know going into moving there
you’re going to either need to manually water your foundation, or have a drip irrigation system do it for you.
Just food for thought have you thought of looking for another job where you currently live? I’ve lived in Texas and frankly it’s a nightmare. It is so hot you have no idea. Driving on the freeway is absolutely terrifying. Yes there’s no state tax, but believe me: they make up for it in other ways, like property taxes.
