Has anyone interviewed after a layoff? Was the process the same as external candidates or is there any difference in the interview process for those that were already with the company?

People get rehired after being fired here so yeah you’re on the right track probably will get promoted faster that way.
I resigned and came back, the interview was no different. Same red tape. Talking to HR people who had zero healthcare experience.
Why go back? Find a better place, a company with great values that cares about their employees.
Unless you know the hiring manager, it's not an easy rehire. Thete is a no bumping clause in severance, meaning you can't get prefetrnce.
Yes. The application process is no different than any other external applicant. The interview process is entirely up to the hiring manager. In my case I knew the hiring manager and had worked closely with them before I was laid off, so my “interview” was very informal and more of a conversation about the role. I know others that were laid off at the same time I was and also came back but had to run the gamut- interview stages, panels, etc.
