What was even the point of SETH today? Another town hall that seemed like a total waste of time.

@2bv you're not wrong.
Each executive has an itinerary of internal and external engagements they're to appear in set a year in advance - which townhalls, SETHs etc they will speak at. This schedule is managed by PGPA in a spreadsheet, and they follow it pretty strictly. Even if the executive has nothing to contribute in that particular forum at that particular time, they appear.
This was just a self service show for the LT to fool themselves into thinking they’re ate doing a great job
@OP Uncle Mike had to get his ego stoked by that “journalist”
@c7 and VZ oil
Why do y’all keep watching these things? Do you just look for things to complain about? Must be a lot of IT and HR muppets here.
That interviewer was unprofessional
I’ve had an auto-delete rule for “Town Hall” emails since 2020. It’s been a waste of time at least since then.
Zero value TH. Possibly the worst in my 24 years
Tiresome clichés about "focus on what you can control" and some brown-nosing questions about MW's morning smoothie. It was garbage. Bottom line: Strait of Hormuz geopolitics gave Chevron an unearned windfall and MW wants credit for it.
@b7 MW at times seemed embarrassed by both her questions and her delivery. I felt second-hand embarrassment for her.
Don’t jump thinking things will improve. Chevron didn’t become worse than competitors. It just stopped being better.
The emperor has no clothes. Smile and wave boys.. smile and wave
Give the people what they want. Bring back PollEV
It was a complete waste of company time. Not whining. It’s just true
@a8 stop your whining
Who thought it would be a good idea to bring some reporter to host the company Town Hall? The whole idea of a town hall is from the town. Let's bring someone outside the town to represent the town with questions. So bad. A new low.
Why does everyone always have to complain about everything? I liked that they tried to mix it up a little bit and make it more engaging. People at Chevron have absolutely no idea how lucky we have it and hearing the constant whining gets old.
I just overheard two muppets in the cafeteria talking about what a great job MW did today. I must have been in a different SETH?
I want my hour back
Even the interviewer is outsourced! Don’t we not have anyone from the company that can interview our own CEO?
Yep
