@hs waiting on my "payout" which will be issued on 09/11 according to the VSP. Not sure what my teammates decided to do because management did not explain or disclosed who took the VSP and who's staying. There are no team discussions about who will take over my work or what will happen. I'm certain they're waiting for 09/04 as well just like I am. This whole thing is definitely taking a toll on my mental health and financial situation.

They said it would be paid on 09/11. But the last day of work is supposed to be or was supposed to be 09/04. At least for some of us. Other people got different pay dates and employment termination dates. So everyone's experiencing this layoff differently. What's interesting is that since the approval of the VSP I have not had any notification or information about it and we're fast approaching 09/04. Also, from what I know, some people were asked to leave (log off) earlier than the 09/04 date; meaning, they were asked not to continue working but still get paid. Everything feels sneaky and shady. Some people that didn't apply for the VSP got laid off this month. Clearly the only ones knowing what's going on are upper management but I'm sure they'll tell you that they have no idea what's going on.

@fq Thank you for that comment. I know it's been a very difficult time for everyone. I have spoken to a couple of people about what has happened. We will use the information with no names attached, if anyone wants to talk now. Have they said when severance will be paid?

@susan ladika - I would suggest aproaching this topic again AFTER people get their severence paid out. With the chaotic, isolating, thoughtless methods employed during this time of great loss.... people are terrified, disappointed and all the things you would expect at a time like this.

Here's the thing. We're ALL impacted by the layoffs. They have been handled extremely poorly. There feels like there is absolutely ZERO job security now. Just take a look at all the threads. Its not like people are sitting around making this stuff up.

Convince me that my statements or information will not be tied to my name. Draft a document where you state that my name or specific information that will identity me will not be used in your account of what's happening and sign it; then I'll tell you anything you want to know about it and my perspective. When you have the documentation signed and dated let me know and I'll tell you where to send it and we can talk.

@a3 Honestly I've been laid off before about 2 years ago and Centene layoffs are no different than any other corporation

@OP I don't think anyone is going to risk losing their severance package therefore any questions you have, you should just ask here. I'm certain you will get a lot of responses. Best of luck.

I can understand the fear of retribution. We can talk to people and use comments anonymously. I'm unable to just rely on comments in posts.

@OP employees will not speak to you for fear of retribution. But if you read all the posts, you will get a pretty clear picture of all the shenanigans.
