Univision has initiated a series of layoffs impacting its news division. Prominent anchor Ambrosio Hernández was among those let go, following a lengthy career with the network. The cuts also affected news director Yoly Zugasti and anchors in other states. Hernández had been a familiar face in South Florida news for Univision since 2015. The future of the 6 p.m. newscast remains uncertain as the network considers replacements.

Since managing committee doesn't seem to want to listen to employees, maybe some bad press would actually catch their attention a bit more. Not sure how many Minneapolis news stations aren't owned by a conglomerate that would bury the story though.

I’ve heard from my VP who knows the identity of one of the informants that they’re watching them and waiting for them to slip up again. I'm told their IP address, document download timings, and personal email logins have all been tracked. They’re waiting to take action and may fire them for gross misconduct.

To James Faris, I know you're probably reading this forum and LinkedIn, cause you reached out there - It’s probably becoming clear why the comms team isn’t supplying you with any quotes for your stories, but some of your informants might lose their jobs.

Clearly a lot of us are unhappy or concerned with the way BNY has conducted layoffs or forced departures. • yes, layoffs are happening today.
• multiple areas are hit (including digital one and us digital).
• dpt hits (some listed but not all): digital one, digital one implementations, us digital, client office, finance (svps), settlements, ibs, channel sales, offshore d1 devs.
• entire channel sales team is reported gone.
• ibs and settlements report several cuts.
• finance svps and senior directors in client office were laid off.
• some teams shrank from about 15 people to 5.
• good, long term employees are being cut.
• news delivered via teams meetings, poorly managed.
• we are all anxious + angry + resentful.
• leadership su-ks.
• additional random sh-t.

Hopefully some really savvy up and comer reporter(s) will come across this site and see a lot of the painful accounts being posted on this site. More specifically, how Humana is hurting the American citizen working class.
