I and 3 others (all VSP) in my department have been given no direction on where to transition our work to. None of our work can be offshored.
Are we alone?

@OP No, and I won't be asking unlike another colleague who is bending over backwards to find ways for leadership to reverse the layoff decision so they can stay.
Your PL should be getting with you to go over your duties. There is actually a spreadsheet that has been sent out to help. I've sent mine out to my VSP people, and have been given mine, as I'm taking the VSP as well.

@OP You will be told "in due time". So, basically, when the emails start bouncing, others will know.
