Whoever runs this page just feeds into the craven fear people seem to love. Most people here sit at their computer and wring their hands itching and panting for the next bit of bad news to show up. Meanwhile, any jokes (e.g., the fake Kate post) get taken down. You all drool with fever waiting for "they got rid of everyone at the Broomfield office, it's empty" and "service delivery is getting rid of anyone with more than two children." Are you sad for yourselves? I know I would be if I lived for misery, real or imagined.

The joke is on whoever wrote this! I worked at that he-l hole for 27 yrs! Thank God, I’m retired and gone! But, after the first 10 yrs, I saw 30 layoffs and stopped counting after that. That place only recycles bad mgmt and leadership to continue to drown the employees in the same bad systems, policies/procedures all while trying to convince you “things will get better”! The only thing that will make Lumen better is to shut its doors and let people move on. After the worst mgr in history being reported to HR at least 6 times that I know of by several people and he’s still there, tells me everything I ever knew or needed to know about Lumen! If you can’t retire, get your resume’ in order and start job seeking and GET OUT for your own peace of mind!! Best of luck to the few good ones left!
@OP Ahh, that Count of Del Monte Crisco, he is a special treat, probably a basement dweller in his mama's house me thinks. He is so angry. Takes that fiction novel a tad too seriously. You know that one whose book title he goes by.

This company owns the Word "misery" and Rumors for that manner. They sold their soles to the devil that wasn't in disguise...it was right in front of them the entire time.
This is a site that anyone can post on and yes, sometimes people post rumors. If you do not like reading rumors you are free to not read the posts on this site. For many this is a place to vent their frustrations anonymously about what is going on around them without fear of retribution. Most layoffs I have witnessed started with a rumor and I myself was laid off a few years ago and found out about it when someone I knew asked how I was doing instead of hearing it from my Manager first. I was picked up by another group and changed jobs and was not laid off at that time.
