If you are not in h1b run out of Citi. You will not be promoted, you will not have any hike whatsoever. If you are from another company - chances are slim to zero that your manager will even care.
How great it is to see the company functioning exactly opposite to the current governments principles. It’s immaculate to see this organization run like this forever.

@1z1 Oh, let me add a few more terms for their filter.
IndianFlag=true and Caste=management.Caste
@11p The problem is they have that breakdown insofaras what they care about.
min([Expense]) and IndenturedServantVisaFlag=true are the only criteria they will ever care about.
@wz Could we get a breakdown of this year's terminations, specifically comparing visa holders to citizens? Even if reductions occurred, it raises questions if overseas promotions are being prioritized for certain individuals.
We need to take a closer look at team dynamics and management practices. When managers favor those who share their cultural or linguistic background, it creates a severe lack of equity and accountability. Practices rooted in bias or caste based favoritism have no place here, and leadership should investigate these patterns to ensure a truly fair and inclusive workplace.
H1s aren't getting salary hikes and promotions either. It is Citi bank. Don't forget that. Only directors and above benefit.
Did you forget other locations? Texas, Dublin, Belfast, Poland, NY, Singapore, Pine, Chennai, Mumbai, Costa Rica, Chile, NJ....and other places
Tampa is actually not that bad compared to other places. I think NJ, Texas, Pune and Singapore are worse!
Citi has so much money to hire a lawyer (10 Grand), file h1b fees (3 Grand), extension fees (4500 Grand) every 3 years for an H1b employee. But it won’t hike salary for its own citizens and residents. Look at the impact of 1 H1 employee ?
The sheer amount of difference in money they spend on H1Bs and other who don’t require it is so huge.
Simply running ai generated code and using spreadsheets with sql doesn’t need an h1b anymore. Anybody can do those jobs - why need H1Bs for these jobs at Citi. I am sure there are 1000s of citizens and residents with same skills .
Complaints have already been raised - serious scrutiny coming for the great H1 scammers in Citi Tampa
