What’s going on with all the surprising layoffs in Finance that are being attributed to Code of Business Conduct violations? Is there a broader issue or trend that AT&T employees should be aware of?

There is no COBC in Finance. It is full of harassment, coercion and intimidation that goes unchecked and unreported!
they didn't go into their main location enough because there weren't any available desks and they were tired of working in the cafeteria or in hallways....showed up on reports as not being in office enough so let go.....great work environment....
Earlier post is 100% correct. A violation of COBC results in firing, not a layoff.
It’s all a smoke screen.. company doing everything possible to destroy people’s lives, pip out the business.. and fake news of employee growth.. nope it’s all going overseas and contracts.

Maybe someone got caught using a bad recipe for cooking the books.
A layoff means people will let go without cause. If it was CONC violations, that means they were fired.
They were showing under 50% for August on the average hours report.
