Unless you have an in at a company in shape of knowing someone who has influence over role you are applying for or someone head hunts you for a job it’s a horrible process.
Cold applying in this market is a waste of your time. I see folks saying they have applied for however many hundreds of jobs but these applications are just going into the void.
Yep unless you can leverage networking/be a nepo hire to bypass the BS, the job search process right now is exhausting. I've had to do multiple rounds, create an actual presentation deck and all sorts of other hoops for a $55K job. Insanity.
