They sell and buy every company's stocks everyday.
They are fund managers who represent investors worldwide.

@at In simpler terms: #1 implies BlackRock’s optimism for FIS and # 2 implies BlackRocks pessimism for FIS.

I’m not going to look into it but I give more credence to #2 since it at least offers some context.

@at Easy….the original post suggests BlackRock recently acquired the shares. The second post indicates that BlackRock has held the same or more # of shares for quite some time. Both claims cannot be true.

I’d like a large fry with that.

This represents a change in shares of -21.94% during the quarter. The current value of the position is $1,805,852,244 USD.
