Please start preparing yourselves. It will not be small and it will not be pretty. Plus, with the job market being what it is, you need to start looking sooner rather than later to have any chance of landing something. Just a few words of advice from an old-timer who's been through an acquisition or two and knows how it goes.

@jf investments isn’t untouchable. There were investments associates let go in July 2025
@k5 You’re in denial that layoffs aren’t coming. I’m not the stupid one, “bro”
@jt isn’t a bit early for you to get drunk posting again?? Unless that’s a perverted fantasy you keep bringing up.
No wonder your life su-ks bro
@gd Bet you wish you could su-k off the whole MC
At one point wasn't there a file share that had either the layoff information out there, or information from which that could be ascertained? I thought Investments was "untouchable" and is there anyone left working in IT? I saw some ads for IT jobs at T Rowe - maybe they are already replacing those people?
@fz let it go
They’re just some low level attention seeker. Probably disgruntled and frustrated.
Sure - let’s believe that the MC probably show them all their plans so they can post them online.
@en you are so full of cr-p. You know about a 100 person layoff but not about an acquisition?
@ep Get your tongue out of Rob Sharps’ a--hole
@ep I’m not going to dox myself but I have seen the documents detailing which teams are going to be impacted. The fact you think that no one has insider knowledge shows your naïveté.
@en that’s pure bull cr@p. You are a rumor monger and incredibly stupid person. I pity those who have to be around you.
Layoff plans are material non public information. Nobody “knows” the plans unless they’re involved in planning. And those people don’t announce them on this site because they will go to jail.
@b9 Not OP, but I already know about a ~100 person layoff on the investment side and a larger layoff for tech planned for some time in the next couple of months. If there’s an acquisition I haven’t heard about, then that number will certainly increase. 90% of the people I speak to personally at T Rowe right now are polishing their resume/interview skills and starting the job search.
@OP Do you work for F/m or T Rowe? Either way - you have my condolences. I lost my job in last year's layoffs, and I never realized how much I hated that place. Good luck.
@OP actual acquisition news or just what we all see coming?
