It is friday today. Anything happening?!?
@v3 no it won’t
@rr very true!
friday will be management layoffs at sr dir level b ready
@pr "Kb has a hit list and is after many reps so you better watch yo back"
Watch your back for what? It would be a blessing to be fired from this job... this company ulis a dumpster fire!
You will wake up one day and realize that staying at this company was never worth it! Considering all the stress and mental drain which all boils down to physical unwell, it just is not worth it.
We are loosing customers EVERYDAY!
@e7 exactly spot on.
The math is simple: lost pipeline + executive departures + missed PE timelines = margin preservation through headcount cuts.
When top line growth stalls, leadership sets up paper trails first. Sudden surge in mandatory "roleplays," extra admin logging, and hyper micromanaged activity metrics? That isn't coaching...it's PIP engineering lol.
Leadership looking for cheap ways to exit reps for "cause" and manufacture performance failures to dodge severance before broad layoffs hit. When PE demands margin, they will find a way to label it "underperformance" on paper. They already did in the past and will keep doing it.
selling Omnissa to Ivanti
Not true. But funny!
No. CEO has been telling everybody that he's going to get an outside investment, recapitalize the company, take it public, sell it outright, take some cash to pay a dividend, etc. Basically promising people a vesting event "soon".
Well, the dates he attached to that are all in the past now. Draw your own conclusions from that.
Katie is spineless unfortunately and will cut people as a scapegoat to avoid accountability. She was a decent RD. It had been horrendous in the new role and has operated with no integrity. Sad to see what she’s become
@p4 - KKR is a terrible place to be, but Ivanti is truly a software junkyard. I see products there that were once relevant during the Bush administration. Omnissa's future is as a much smaller company serving a smaller market of customers with specific use cases, or customers where it doesn't make financial sense to move to something else now. You'll probably get bought and sold a few times, go through several rounds of layoffs, and eventually end up somewhere like Ivanti or another Island of Misfit Toys PE company.
@f7 selling Omnissa to Ivanti
@e7 "The "deal" they were hoping for fell through and never happened," Just curious - who was that?
They have already started but are not officially announcing it...
There are people who have been let go already in the recent past and it will continue.
Our numbers are and have been terrible... there is no hiding it anymore.
Customers are not renewing or buying net new despite of what you keep hearing from the marketing folks. "The Pitch" is not working, it never did!
What is left is a CEO who was counting on making a company look "Profitable" so they could sell it and make some quick cash, which has now officially failed. The "deal" they were hoping for fell through and never happened, meanwhile customers are leaving in groups and sales are plummeting. Numbers don't lie... and they cant cover their tracks anymore.
What is the next logical step? Cut costs as much as they can with whatever they can including layoffs to try to recover the financial and revenue decay as much as possible and then sell the company for whatever they can. Meanwhile, KKR will also be replacing the CEO soon enough for failing to deliver what was promised.
What you can expect: More layoffs and more cutting of costs including certain benefits that are still there. More expectations from the employees to do more with less.
The potential buyers will look at all of this data and realize why pay a premium for this dying company when you can just wait for it to default and then buy it for pennies on a dollar?
Just look at KKR's portfolio and you will see that they have made similar mistakes in the past... this is no different.
KKR is demanding more cost-cutting, in response to the sales pipeline decline and ongoing profitability concerns. The layoff timing start is unknown.
@OP how could there not be?
When you need to know something, you will be informed. Stay engaged with official communication channels for updates.
Did they start already? Sitting by my phone waiting for the call ☎️ 😃
