Its hilarious how Lowe's desperately tries to create a commission working environment without the commission.
Tell you the truth, the sales manager is probably the most important position in the entire building. But the way that company's operated, it's like, It's just a show up position and just read numbers and then cry when things aren't working out. And then have cupcake parties when things are working out. I just, very confused.
I used to run a big box auto dealership with five manufacturers. I understand what a sales manager does. I go to Lowe's and it's laughable. The one guy they had they thought was a superstar was a seven-foot-tall Lurch-looking guy. And all he did was read numbers. He never talked to anybody, never motivated, never said a word. He just walked around with pieces of paper and looked at numbers all day. And they would brag how great he was. And he wasn't. At all.
