Seeing chatter that people across the globe in India and apac are getting business update invitations - any truth to this?

@c2 I mean for grunts like us it’s one thing to leak things out of frustration, but people at that level are gonna be paid >1m every year with multimillion dollar stock packages. It seems very unlikely to me that someone with that much to lose would jeopardize all of that and risk legal action by posting a public leak that can’t even be deleted.
You could be right and maybe some rumor is true, but almost every day for the last 2 weeks, there has been someone saying “leadership told them” that it would be happening that day, and it never happens.
I hope it happens today but I think it’s just better to not pay attn to rumors on here at all. Caused me too much stress all for nothing to happen yet.
@a7 agreed a lot of trolls but there are of plenty of VP’s and SVP’s that hate working at PayPal and post real information on here all the time. I think they have a pretty close wrap on who knows about the layoffs but also they have sc--wed this up so bad.

@a7 Generally agree but that one post reply on another thread posted an actual real team. If they’re trolling that’s a super weird way to do it/hobby. They’re either a current or former employee and there’s no drama in their post just identifies the business unit and says they got The Email. IDK. F this place.
I almost guarantee the people saying this are just trolling and taking advantage of people’s anxieties. This site requires zero verification of anything.
No one below VP level (possibly higher) knows jack, and no one at that level is going to go to a public anonymous forum to leak company secrets.
