Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

h1b's will be once again saved.

The new rule prevents new h1b to enter US. So the only best bet is holding existing H1b's.

H1B1 visa is a US government visa immigration and jobs visa program,
Oracle is not doing anything illegal.
If you have any questions regarding this visa Program please talk with the federal government or directly with Trump that you Americans elected for the 2nd term.

  1. nontechnical will be gone, across the board. Nontechnical anybody including "managers" will be gone.

  2. H1Bs won't have jobs as most basic office jobs are made redundant in the next 3 years. AI is coming for the jobs it can automate. H1Bs are temporary and being paid (for less to save the companies $$$) until they too are automated. By 2029 they will no longer be in the country as their roles were automated. If they are in the country then they will just be part of the unemployed tech/office masses.

(Cue UBI. And distribution of homes/etc to another class of workers. Another story altogether. With nobody working (or only certain people) you'd anticipate higher crime and boredom-related things - not with Flock being rolled out. Meh good luck. I wouldnt worry about H1Bs as you are all ending up in the same boat.)

At Oracle , H1Bs have a lifetime job.

Also because of LE relationship with prez, USCIS is ignoring Oracle’s practices in regards to immigration

In true fashion, someone's VISA paperwork is being heavily scrutinized, and these posts are flagged.

Keynote: Companies with secret clearance heavily scrutinize applicants with financial debt, or ties to other foreign entities. The same can, and should be said for VISA applicants who are encouraged to play games to get in front of the line for a green card.

An IC4/IC5 are currently doing the required steps for EB-1. Their socials are full of blog posts and paid-for awards that make their accomplishments look "official".
M4/M5 are in on it. The entire year has been insane asks, and sui-idal refactors to show impact.
I have already tipped the USCIS of fraud. Bye bye tu----s.

And paid more than US citizens since the H1B wages have to meet the market rate every time the petition is renewed. oouuch....

US citizens when was the last time you saw any raise. There is no law on books that mandates fair pay and justified as compression.
