Curious what severance is…Any thoughts?

@cg yeah, the grant documents say vesting "may" accelerate when laid off, but you know they won't do it for us little people
normal people probably wont get the RSU unless they vest.
This is posted amongst our HR docs and is updated about every March. Two years ago they reduced it for most employees.
If you are in the US as a regular exempt employee you get 2 weeks/full year of service or 10 weeks, whichever is greater, capped at 26 weeks. If you are laid off between October 1 and annual bonus payout day you are given a prorated bonus. RSU payouts should be fast-forwarded to at least the minimum notice period required by your local laws (i.e. at least 60 days for California) but I think it's often extended even further.
