Request for “accomplishments”

Any other groups receive a request for employees to provide their top 3 “accomplishments” this year? Seems odd for this outside of mid year / year end reviews.

Many LOB "leaders" have an obsession with investing huge quantities of time justifying your own existence.

@a7 This is absolute gold. This needs to be in a corporate self help/career coaching book of some sort. Bravo!

"Together we'll go far." Take yer' pick:

Remembered to mute my microphone before sighing loudly.

Attended 100% of scheduled meetings without physically weeping.

Saved the company money by not receiving a raise.

I successfully managed to stay completely out of the line of fire for "special projects" that carry no extra budget, no promotion potential, and an immediate 40% increase in baseline stress.

I successfully maintained direct eye contact and nodded rhythmically through 400 hours of synchronous video calls that produced a cumulative total of zero actionable outcomes.

Perfected the art of nodding aggressively during video calls while muted, creating the illusion of passion and alignment.

Developed a highly sophisticated facial expression that perfectly mimics intense analytical thinking while actually just trying to figure out what to eat for lunch.
