ACN's weakness reflects AI disruption and macro headwinds set to persist into next year. Investors worry AI will erode demand for Accenture's hours-based consulting. Additionally, hawkish FOMC comments and a stronger dollar added pressure by squeezing IT budgets and offshore earnings. Meanwhile, CEO Julie Sweet noted about $100 million in lost consulting revenue from Middle East-driven client caution and EMEA deal delays, with some managed services pushed to next year. Despite this, management is countering with a push into AI, OT cybersecurity, and mid-market growth.

This news has been fully blown out of proportion, she never made people move their PTO or cancel their plans. It was a simple choice given to people, if they wish, they can carry on more days into the next year than usual. The choice is on people and not on Accenture leads side. It is just crazy, how one simple statement can be completely twisted by the media.

Compressed Layoff smile

J is smiling to set out to retrain over 70,000 employees in AI capabilities, but noted that staff unable to learn these skills face termination on a compressed timeline -

MDs and above are already AI skilled (They know where the boss boots are plus they know how to clean that pair of boots , day in and day out)
