Why is this site now full of questions on india? I don't care about them, the computational team, how they will support their kids schooling et. Can we focus on the west as this is what this site is about. If those lot want to discuss india, then create a Shell bangalore section and talk away.

No one really cares what happens to Shell Bangalore or India. You guys stole too many jobs despite being incompetent and now receiving due payment. You reap what you sow.
@OP The India talk is relevant since part of the EC is quietly involved in the downstream talks with Reliance. It is amazing they've kept it this quiet (but the Exxon and Lyondell smokescreen was good theater).

instead they delete the comments calling him out as an annoying fool. he is too d-mb to keep the same thread and bump it every day so he makes a million dupes and asks in random threads.

I don’t mind the topics either, but having a new “any updates on” thread for the same topic every day feels a bit fragmented. Maybe it makes more sense to keep things related to the same topic in one thread instead of starting a new one every day. There’s already an “Active” button to sort by the most recent reply, so it’s easy to keep track of updates
I don’t really get the need to shut down the convo about it, especially since what happens there usually affects us as well. And it’s not like there are dozens of threads about it (and they’re all easy to spot) - if you don’t like it, just skip the thread.
Why don't we outsource to Philippines for technical work, they are cheaper than Indians. At least you can sit next to them with covering your nose in meetings
