It’s a joke. Get rid of JM. The clown with an ego that couldn’t find his head from a hole in the ground if there was an actual emergency. He’s just another layer that serves no purpose.

Savy VPs are going to know pretty soon what's up in the near future. No pity though given how much they get on the way out.

It means there is no strategy and no plan to get Nike out of the downward slide.
Also, Nike is corporate welfare by other means. Friends and family hiring shop. But hey who cares as long as we can blame DEI for our woes.

NKE let go of 192 VPs in the great purge. What kind of co wakes up one day and discovers they don't need 192 executives, or has that many to begin with. I believe the rumor they are assembled and programmed in a factory in Forest Grove.

New Chief Executive and VPs indicates to me that there will be another round of mass layoffs. Recent hires have all been external. They will assess their teams and make cuts. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a lot of VPs go in Jan/Feb

Broader base to spread the blame around and avoid accountability as the ship sinks. Also allows for more stacking of leadership roles with "yes" people who won't rock the boat and just do as instructed.

“Leadership” at Nike is the equivalent of throwing pasta at the wall and seeing what sticks
