I was indentified as LP (Low Performer). PIP goals are not clear at all.
My manager was always very friendly with me but not clear at all with my performance in the project.

Do not worry ;-) You will get a package from HR. Fortunately, here in Europe we have pretty decent labor codes and labor unions. I am awaiting my package and I am ready to sign, like I have never ever been ready before ;-)
I would not fight to show that these goals do not make sense.
I would move towards making useful work which sounds like related to the goals.
Cannot say it works as my PIP was extended from 1 to 3 month.
Finally your manager needs to fight for you as the second line needs to find some to lay off
If it makes you feel better, your manager was almost certainly told who to PIP by their manager (your second line) and that person was almost certainly told "you need to PIP X # of people in your org" and handed a spreadsheet with metrics they could sort on to quickly decide who to target.
@OP they will smile to your face and ask about your children and family while stabbing you in the pack.
One false assumption made is: managers are knowledgeable enough to judge technical aspect of any task.
