What is the new operating model? Everyone talks like it is a thing but no one has ever explained it.

Dr. Kylie Jenner, M.D. is our new operating model
Just type Corporate Operating Model in the Intranet search engine. Published already 3 years ago. Not really working as intended … in 2024 there was a VP Procurement who took the EPO Decision Rights a bit too literally and it got her demoted and replaced by an experienced hire from the Automotive industry. That experiment only lasted for 2 years, Things are back to normal. Bottom line : the Corporate Operating Model was a thought experiment - not meant for real.
we’re all waiting for this Indian mistake people claim to occur soon since last 10 years since BTC has been around.
with that logic Valdez occurred when BTC was not around, so that means HC10 was not competent?
New model:
Hire in India at 1/10 the normal cost
Engineer in India at 1/3 the normal cost
Buy in India at 1/2 the normal cost
Build in India at 1/3 the normal cost
Import Indians to operate at 1/5 the normal costs
Transition all remote work to India to support assets worldwide
Layoff 5% of HC10 employees annually
Give operatorship to others and transfer HC10 employees to the operator
Valdez level event when all HC10 employees exited with nobody left to correct Indian mistakes
Bridge the gap on a forced retirement would be awesome right now.
Bangalore, Buenos Aires & Kuala Lumpur
Offshoring HQ jobs to Bangalore. Automating a lot of the lower skilled field ops jobs. For field ops jobs that can't be offshored or automated, moving those to a managed service provider so it's no longer EM employees.
More pip. More BTC. More bonus for DW!
