@a7 You may want to lookup the definition for "gossip," OP is reporting about role eliminations on a layoff site. Not only is it a relevant topic, there was no supposition in their post. They simply relayed what they were told.
They shouldn't gossip but you're ok to bootlick?

@a3 why not just ask OP for their name, if they state which team, then that entire team will have bullseyes on their back.
@a7 what is gossip? We get more information from this site than we do from USAA leadership. Instead of laying off mid level employees, they should eliminate majority of EMG, many of who couldn’t count to 10 if you spotted them 1-9.

@OP be happy you have a job. what is happening in the industry & across all companies is same. all roles are getting looked for opportunities to make things better & efficient. do some value add work rather then gossiping.
