IC - Nice trick to layoff more

I see lot of IC are leaving due to so called demotion and some of these people used to work as Product Owner. Sad reality of Citi now.

Retirement vs Quitting

Citi retirement healthcare is way to expensive, government healthcare marketplace is the best deal that I can find. I have a 401k since I started Citi after pensions ended. I've read the Citi retirement guide completely and have one... — read more

Who cares actual results besides Jane and her directs

Something about this Org went wrong. Talkers got to the leader position but the new manager told me he does not care about I do but how he feels about me because shareholder never knew what is actually going on. What is going on in Citi?

Presentation vs. result

Do citi care about the people who resolved problems? I see all talkers are promoted to managerial position in this reorg!

Reduced Rate

Help, do they pay a reduced rate while on notice?

What does "IUO" in your email address mean?

Someone on here several weeks ago claimed that if you went into Global Directory, you could tell that someone had been laid off if you looked at their email address and it said, "@iuo.citi.com" instead of just "@citi.com". Today, I noticed that... — read more

Working/Non-Working Period and Severance Pay

Anybody else find this working (last date is April 12, 2024)/non-working period (last date with Citi is June 29, 2024) confusing? Severance won't be paid until June 29th? HR doesn't know if you can file for unemployment during your working and... — read more

Lack of communication around changes....

These big changes are supposedly effect 4/15. Aside from being told the name of my new manager and I that I am now an I.C. I have been told no specifics on what my new role and responsibilities will look like. Nobody knows anything when I ask... — read more

Development plan - can it be a trap?

It is rather sad to even write this as it shows how little trust there is between my line manager and I. My manager wants to do a development plan and "help me to succeed" - it was one of the tasks in workday. Is it a trap? What shall I look out... — read more

Exception

Can the CEO give me an exception to be a people manager even though I have three direct reports?

When you receive Severance package amount?

When do you receive the severance package $? Is it on the day after which non working notice period starts i.e. 15th April? Or is it after the notice period ends i.e. 29th June?

Settlement package

Anyone tried to negotiate their redundancy package? what's the outcome?

IC

IC here after they took away my team but they want me to manage them still. Insane request and beyond demoralizing and clueless of these incompetent politicians who continue to operate

Layoffs over let the restructuring begin.

Big shakeup in Finance with several MDs out and new head coming in from JPM. This could be an exciting time for those of us on the train. New roles, new development opportunities, new talent. Choo choo!

No direction, no strategy

What is our path to future revenue growth? Is there some overreaching plan that I'm missing that does not include laying off more and more employees each year? I truly hope there is, because if that's the only strategy this leadership can come up... — read more

Exhausted

The reorg is poorly done, I am exhausted. No vision on what to do next? Is I am the only person feeling this way?

Competition vs cooperation

With layoffs constantly hanging over our heads, everything has turned into competition instead of cooperation. Personally, I think it makes no difference. No matter what you do, if the numbers make sense to those on top, you'll be gone. Making... — read more
