July 23 - Project Kite

Sorry for those who get their pop up meeting with the manager for this day. Also the layoff schedule is every month now. Whoever is left please turn out the lights when you leave

Big RIF 7/22

Huge RIF coming next week to Worldpay. I know a lot of people still work there from FIS split. They’re basically firing so many knowledgeable doers and hiring more consultants that do nothing. Phill-p’s org is on fire. It’s because he is a terrible... — read more

More layoffs in Bellevue

Looks like Atelio? https://www.geekwire.com/2025/fintech-giant-fis-lays-off-133-people-at-seattle-area-office/

Jumping Ship

GREAT leaders are now jumping ship and their team leads are following them... what does that say for the company... it su-ks! The most selfish, backstabbing and conniving group of executive leaders I've ever seen...it is literally obscene! Ruin... — read more

FIS vs Fiserv

If I'm going from Fiserv to FIS, am I just getting the same thing or are things slightly better at FIS?

Bad company

FIS Future Forward initiative. CEO creates a program for employees to develop ideas & implement changes to save the company money with a percent payout to employee. Payouts were noted to employees for June 2024, but payouts were delayed. Then, FIS... — read more

Horrible company

The CEO & CFO are gutting the entire company. Everything is offshored to Accenture. 25 years & walked out like a dog. Each month, 4th week huge round of layoffs. June, July, Sept & Oct huge layoffs. No vision CEO. TSYS was Gary’s suggestion before GP... — read more

I heard it' offshore only. So if you suddenly have a pop up meeting with your manager tomorrow, my condolences. Kind of like from Goodfellas - "that's how it happens, they come to you as friends, people you knew your whole life" Onshore will... — read more

Capital Markets: Another Reorg in Progress

Over the next two weeks, Capital Markets will be holding closed-door meetings to (once again) reorganize the management hierarchy. At what point do we stop cycling through the same failed structures and start building a leadership model that... — read more

Is this true?

This round is called project ivy. Next round in July is called project kite. Will also have one in Sept and November Is this accurate? Where in the world is this info coming from, if so? Am I missing something?

No layoffs today

From what I understand, there was no continuation of layoffs today. Does that mean it's over and I don't have to worry about it spilling into the next week?

Upcoming layoffs across FIS

This is going to be a larger one affecting most teams. I’ve heard somewhere between 5-10% across the company. And its going to be quick, should be done by end of June.

More Layoffs for the End of May

There are more layoffs going on this week. Know of several across both Banking and Capital Markets that have been let go today.

Bunch of India employees let go

The company laid off a bunch of employees from Indian call center as the client said the quality is terrible and apparently they did some shady tactics to avoid work. Hopefully that will spark a thought in their brains

New strategy of shutting down products?

Thankfully, I work for a very mouthy SVP who can’t keep secrets. He said he got a document from one of John Durant’s direct that came from Stephanie that says the new strategy is to reduce the number of product lines Some of it talks about merging... — read more

At least it's over

Another layoff cycle passed and I’m grateful to still be here, even though I know more is on the way down the line. At least there’s relief in this temporary stability. It’s remarkable how normalized these cuts have become compared to a decade ago... — read more

Capital Markets merger with Banking

They are in the process of merging capital markets division with banking. Why? Same reason Stephanie does anything. Boost the stock price of course. Capital Markets grows at a much higher rate than banking so it would look better if she merged... — read more

Hired remote but company wide RTO coming?

I was hired as remote but there has been mentions of those of us within a certain mile amount to an office will be required to come in. Anyone know anything about this?

Stock price dropping

Today's earnings call today was brutal. Currently down -17% I'm not sure James Kehoe knows how to deliver messages to investors. Going out of his way to highlight weaknesses. At one point he mentioned we should be "withholding payments to vendors"... — read more

Age discrimination

The majority of people who were let go were in their late 40s at best, but more often in their 50s and 60s. The most experienced folks. How is this okay? I know there are laws that say age discrimination is not okay. I don't understand how the... — read more
