WHAT IS IT?

Laid off on Wednesday. Decent severance package. I’ve noting they are not making anyone permanent where I work but they are keeping people on stretches. Essentially, paying them less to do a higher position. I have a feeling they will be cut too.

6 abt two weeks ago then 5 yesterday 10/9. More to come. My many many years in financial services/operations has told me that these kinds of jobs don’t last nowadays.

Do not worry too much, I am one of those who is always optimistic - things will pan out good and we will not have layoffs here in Brookfield.
